Pat Ellacott - Gallery 2 (the figure)
Below are some of my life drawings and paintings, which range in size from A4 to A3. You can see an enlarged view of any image by clicking on it.
The figure is an ever present challenge for artists and can be approached in many ways. In my work I look at the elements of form, shape, mass, weight and dynamics. I use the same approach with animals, as you can see in Gallery 1.
Gallery 3 shows some of my more abstract works and Gallery 4 shows some examples from my "Portrait of an Orchestra" series - an informal view of the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra. All images are for sale - typically as originals - so please contact me if you would like to find out more.
